I have been LDing about 2-3 years. (hard to tell exactly). They began as random realizations, but I would immediately snap out of it and fall back into the story. Over time, my lucidity maintained longer and longer. I have also achieved WILD once, and have had many WBTB which end up with me getting out of bed into the dreamworld. Many false awakenings as well.
Hello Justin, Hello All,
I‘ve been lucid dreaming for 40+ years. I love my dreams, they have always been a large part of me.
My hypnagogic colours are quite vivid and I’ve always used them to enter a dream. Now as an adult I’ve learned how to go past sleep paralysis and into an oobe.
I grew up a Trekkie, the dreamworld is my holodeck 😊
I’m excited to try some of the lucid goal suggestions 👍
Awesome! I am excited to try them too. I am working every day to program my memory to remember the dream goal upon becoming lucid. I found this app where you can record affirmations in your own voice and then set them to any music. They play on a loop for up to an hour. I listen to it before going to sleep, with the recorded affirmation of the dream goal. I reword the sentence a few times to break up the monotony. So far I haven't become lucid since experimenting with it, but I do feel like I'll be more naturally inclined to remember my dream goal. Look forward to your dream reports! Also, if you haven't already, please go and make a suggestion for our next dream goal, and remember to come back and vote starting Thursday. ~Sweet dreams~
@Justin Phillips i also have trouble remembering specific goals once lucid. I’ve been trying to visit my Sons place far away. In reality he has a coloured post-it on his fridge. I’ve gone there once in a dream but I forgot to look at the fridge! I’m trying to see if I get the colour correct.
Dream on!
@scottiesgem why don't you try to use the chalk door this week to teleport to his house? Would save a lot of time and less chances of getting distracted.
